Second-hand Ice Resurfacing Machines

 We have refurbished several 1980s combustion engine 500 series machines and 90s Zamboni 552 GE battery-powered machines.

After refurbishment, the machines are sold to new owners or remain in our fleet as rental machines.

We have also refurbished machines owned by customers on commission. In an extensive overhaul, the machine is controlled from bow to stern, and all worn parts are repaired or replaced while the technology is updated to match today's technology. Re-painting the machine makes it fresh.

The overhaul will extend the life of the machine for several years. Usually, used machines come to us in exchange when a new Zamboni is delivered, but sometimes we have also bought used machines from the free-market.

The overhaul of a machine takes several months. We try to keep one overhaul project in progress at a time and concentrate on that when other workloads allow. Some second-hand machines do not necessarily need to be overhauled entirely, but only some of the machine's functions need to be replaced.

In the case of customers' machines in particular, we agree on the scope of the overhaul on a case-by-case basis. We also broker-used ice machines on the lists of Zamboni agents in other countries. We check on the customer's request for the availability of these machines. The availability of used machines and rental machines varies.
